Custom Quilting Services
PLEASE EMAIL ME at seasherilynsew@gmail.com if you are interested in hiring me for custom quilting. My price is .16 cents per square inch for pieced quilts and .18 cents per square inch for quilts that have an excessive amount of applique, embroidery, paint or any other type of additional features added to the quilt top.
Price includes one layer of batting, thread and return US shipping. Please include a square backing with at least 4 inches overage.
Some things to consider when deciding to hire me.
* 8-10 month turn-around time. There’s always the possibility I could have the quilt finished sooner.
* I do not bury threads.
*I usually use a single color thread throughout (one that blends well with all fabrics) unless matching thread is requested or if I feel matching thread would be a better choice.
*When selecting a backing please know I mostly use white pre-wound bobbin thread
*I discourage using low-quality batiks for backings. They can sometimes interfere with tension.
