I am Sherilyn Mortensen, owner of Sea Sherilyn Sew. I have spent the last 25 years enjoying some form of quilting. Within the past 10 years my interest, skill level and passion for quilting has tremendously increased with the wonderful addition of free-motion/long-arm quilting. My quilty pleasures and passions include free-motion quilting, pattern designing, teaching and presenting. I enjoy my association with Gammill as one of their talented quilt artists. I currently live in Tyler Texas but my husband, Mark, and I raised our 3 children in warm and sunny Central Florida. I still have plenty of sand between my toes and the ocean is definitely my happy place, hence the “Sea” in Sea Sherilyn Sew. I have also spent time living on the Western slope in beautiful Colorado and in stunning Cache Valley in Utah! Life as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend and quilter brings me the greatest joy!
